New updates are being added at the bottom of this story…….
Original story (published on July 16, 2020) follows:
The Tecno Pouvoir 4 is the latest smartphone from Tecno Mobile. The device is known for its massive 6000mAh battery but is a bit lackluster where the processor is concerned. On the software front, it launched with Android 10 out-of-the-box.
To our surprise, Tecno Mobile has already announced the Android 11 Developer Preview program for the smartphone. Therefore, interested users can try out Android 11 on their Tecno Pouvoir 4 right now. Of course, the software is still in the beta stages. Thus, bugs and issues will be a common sight.
If you don’t mind putting up with the occasional bugs, then you can download the Tecno Pouvoir Android 11 beta 1 update from below:
Note: You will need access to a PC to install the update.

Nonetheless, it’s good to see more Android OEMs join the Android 11 beta testing program. Earlier, we reported that OnePlus released the beta 2 update for the OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro. Speaking of which, Sony also appears to be ready to hop on board with the Android 11 beta testing program.
In an alleged screenshot of a Geekbench score, we can see the Sony Xperia 1 II running on Android 11. The SONY XQ-51A is the codename for the device sold in western markets. Unfortunately, we have not managed to find the original Geekbench listing.

Therefore, this information should be taken with a pinch of salt. If the Sony Xperia was indeed benchmarked on Geekbench, it’s possible that Sony may announce a public Android 11 beta test for the device. Now we simply have to wait for an official word from Sony on the matter.
You can check out our list of Sony devices that might receive the Android 11 update. The company is also rolling out Android 10 to eligible devices from its portfolio. Take a look at our Sony Android 10 update tracker to know when it arrives on your device.
As usual, we will post an update if and when Sony officially releases the Android 11 beta update for the Xperia 1 II. Stay tuned to PiunikaWeb for more breaking news on similar topics.
Update 1 (March 11)
07:11 pm (IST): It seems that Tecno has finally released the stable Android 11 update for the Techno Pouvir 4 according to a user report on Twitter.
It’s unclear why the stable update took so long to be released given the fact the device was one of the only few non-Google phones to get the Android 11 beta last year.
