New updates are being added at the bottom of this story…

Original story (published on February 15, 2021) follows:

The OnePlus Nord has been promoted as being “pretty much everything you could ask for”. And one look at the device’s spec sheet coupled with its premium design will convince you that it indeed is a near-perfect all-rounder.

Anyway, the OnePlus Nord was slated to bag the OxygenOS 11 update based on Android 11 sometime during Q1 2021. And as we near the end of February, many users have grown quite impatient.

After all, the company has been renowned worldwide for its timely and bug-free updates. However, things seem to have taken a turn for the worse lately with the advent of OxygenOS 11.

None of the OEM’s offerings, other than the latest OnePlus 8 series have bagged a stable OxygenOS 11 update. This comes even after the OnePlus 7T series was supposed to get it in December.

And if the flagship series hasn’t received the Android 11 update, then one can’t really get their hopes too high with a mid-ranger like the OnePlus Nord.

Anyway, as most may already be aware, the Nord has been undergoing some rigorous beta development lately. And it has now come to light that the testing period is about to end ahead of a stable release.

Os 11 it will update officially in Feb last weak Mr Dev stay tuned for the update

If the above screenshot is to go by, the Nord should bag Android 11 sometime during the last week of February. While this does sound like great news, most users were skeptical as it doesn’t exactly sound too trustworthy.

I wouldn’t trust that support channel, they hardly know what they’re doing half the time. Even misspelled “week”. It will be done when there’s an official statement on the forum by staff.

This distrust is quite plausible though considering that there hasn’t been any official announcement on the forums regarding the same. Either way, we sure hope that the announcement was for realsies.

For now, keep an eye out on our dedicated OxygenOS 11 update tracker so that you don’t miss out on developments like these.
