[Update: Open Beta live] Realme V5 5G Realme UI 2.0 (Android 11) beta update early adopter registrations open up

Realme was one of the first Android OEMs to offer the Android 11 beta update not much after Google released it for the Pixel devices.

At present, the Realme X50 Pro is the only phone from the company that has received the stable Android 11 update with its custom Realme UI 2.0 skin on top.

However, the OEM is also testing Android 11 on a bunch of smartphones through its Early Access/Early adopters program.

Most recently, the company opened up registrations for the Realme X50, Realme X50m, and the Realme Q2 in China.

Now, Realme has kick-started the Android 11-based Realme UI 2.0 early adopters program for the Realme V5 5G as well.

Interested users can register for the beta program starting today, i.e., January 26, as per details shared in the official announcement on the company’s community forums.

Realme V5 5G users who successfully register for the Realme UI 2.0 early adopter program will get the first beta update before January 30.

The subsequent beta update will go live within 30 working days from the time of registration according to the company.

These are the steps you have to follow to register for the Realme UI 2.0 early adopters program on the Realme V5 5G as shared by Realme:

Step 1: Please open “Settings> Software Update> Settings button in the upper right corner> Upgrade early adopters” on your phone.

Step 2: Click “Upgrade Early Access”, read the appointment instructions, update log, etc. and click “Book Now”.

If for some reason you wish to downgrade to Android 10, you will be able to do so since Realme will release the Android 10 rollback package as well as a detailed guide on how to do so.

Those who do not wish to take part in the beta program will have to wait a while before the company begins seeding the stable Realme UI 2.0 update based on Android 11 for the Realme V5 5G.
