New updates are being added at the bottom of this story…….

Original story (published on January 23, 2021) follows:

Samsung began seeding the stable One UI 3.0 update based on Android 11 back in December starting with the Galaxy S20 lineup and has since then pushed the update to a bunch of smartphones around the world.

Like every other major Android OS update, this too is a staggered rollout and thus the update isn’t live in all regions at the same time.

There are various factors that play into the release of software updates including carrier testing. Therefore, individuals with carrier-branded devices often get updates later than those with unlocked models.

Nonetheless, once mobile carriers have conducted their own tests on system updates, they push these updates to handsets. And thankfully, Canadian carriers share their plans for the release of updates in advance.

Speaking of which, TELUS has shed some light on the availability of Android 11 with One UI 3.0 for the Samsung Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10+, Galaxy S10e, and Galaxy Z Flip via its software update schedule.

According to the TELUS, One UI 3.0 based on Android 11 will start rolling out for the Samsung Galaxy S10 series and Galaxy Z Flip on February 2.

This means users with the aforementioned devices in Canada only have to wait a week and a half before they can get their hands on the latest Android version.

At present, devices such as the Galaxy S20, Galaxy Note 20, and Galaxy Z Fold2 5G have received Samsung’s in-house skin over Android 11 in Canada.

Now that, TELUS has confirmed that it will release One UI 3.0 for the Samsung Galaxy S10 series and Z Flip on February 2, it’s likely that other major carriers in the country will release the update around the same date.

Having said that, One UI 3.0 isn’t the only update to look forward to since new developments indicate that Samsung would release its One UI 3.1 skin for the Galaxy S10 lineup in March.

As usual, we will post an update once TELUS begins rolling out the software update to these devices.

In the meantime, be sure to stay tuned to our dedicated tracker to know more about the status of One UI 3.0 for all eligible devices from Samsung.
