In the past few weeks, Samsung has released its One UI 3.0 skin based on Android 11 to several smartphones including the Galaxy S20 lineup, Galaxy Note 20 duo, and the Galaxy Z Fold2.

While it was obvious that the company would release the latest Android version to its flagship smartphones first, Samsung is also developing Android 11 for its mid-rangers.

In the past, we’ve seen several Android 11-based test builds pop up for devices such as the Galaxy A50, Galaxy A50s, and Galaxy A70.

Not only that, but Samsung also kick-started the One UI 3.0 beta program for the Galaxy A51 5G in South Korea and the Galaxy M31 in India.

As per the company’s official One UI 3.0 update timeline, the Galaxy M31 is scheduled to get the Android 11-based One UI 3.0 update in March.

However, it appears that Samsung has started seeding the stable One UI 3.0 update to Galaxy M31 users in India way ahead of the original plan.

The update is being seeded to Samsung Galaxy M31 users who are part of the One UI 3.0 (Android 11) beta program in India and non-beta testers as per fresh reports (1, 2) from individuals.

We’ve shared a screenshot of part of the update page that shows off the build number and other details of the latest firmware.

The update bears the firmware version number M315FXXU2BUAC and is available to beta testers with a download size of just 407.62 MB.

Of course, the download size wouldn’t be the same for those with Galaxy M31 units running on One UI 2.5.

Apart from the expected One UI 3.0 features and improvements, this update also carries the January security patch.

Now that the Galaxy M31 has bagged the update, we can expect other mid-range phones to get One UI 3.0 soon as well.

Previously, we reported that the Galaxy M31 is expected to bag the new update in February. But given the recent development, it looks like Samsung is speeding up its rollout at an unexpected pace.

Having said that, stay tuned to our dedicated tracker to know more about the status of One UI 3.0 for all eligible devices.
