We have also been following issues and bugs faced by users of OxygenOS 11, OnePlus’ Android 11 custom Android skin and you can check out our dedicated tracker here.

Many of these affected users report of unexplained instability of their devices following this update. According to them, the update results in a lot of slowdown and lagginess experienced throughout the system.
This issue affects almost all aspects of the OnePlus 8T device from the video and music playback, playing both online and offline videos, games, the device’s camera and the system UI.
After the latest OTA update version 11.0.6.7.KB05DA, iam facing the below issues :
1. My phone is freezing in a regular interval like for almost 2 to 3 seconds. If im playing any songs or videos, the freezing is almost like buffering without any loading icon. Touch and screen is unresponsive in that state. said:
2. Apps are crashing at that freezing state for regular interval. Any app that is being opened is getting crashed and showing as APP_NAME isn’t responding. EVEN SYSTEMUI IS NOT RESPONDING AFTER THE REBOOT AFTER INSTALLING UPDATE.
3. If any call comes, because of this issue, the ringtone and call screen is freezing for 2 to 3 seconds.
Customer care said that the update takes time to settle in phone. They also said that wait until tomorrow and if the problem is still there, go to Service center and get it repaired. Is it supposed to be and this is how a No.1 smartphone company solve a issue?
Luckily, OnePlus has one of the most active community forums and affected users already have a few workarounds to try out on their unstable OnePlus 8T devices.
Some of these suggested workarounds include:
– Toggling battery saver option.
– Recording a short voice note on the default OnePlus recorder app.
Interestingly, this seems to be working to some degree for users with affected OnePlus 8T devices.
When i turn on the battery sever mode it started working normal without any glitch ( using for 1 hours). But when i turn off the battery sever mode OFF it start lagging again.
