The Samsung Galaxy A50s launched with Android 9 Pie pre-installed and has since then picked up the update to Android 10.

Now, the Samsung Galaxy A50s is also in line to receive the update to Android 11 which will also bring the company’s custom One UI 3.0 skin to the device.

According to Samsung’s official rollout schedule for India, the device is expected to get the update in April next year.

However, it appears that the South Korean giant has already begun working on Android 11 for the Galaxy A50s.

This is because an individual has spotted a new test build for the Galaxy A50s via the CheckFirm app which carries the firmware version A507FNXXU5DTL5 with the Android version listed as 11.

The build date for this test firmware is listed as December indicating that Samsung has begun testing the upcoming software update for the device internally.

Similarly, we had also reported on the new Android 11 test build that was spotted for the Samsung Galaxy A50.

Like the Galaxy A50s, the Galaxy A50 is also expected to pick up One UI 3.0 (Android 11) in April or May next year.

However, considering the fact that Samsung is rolling out the new Android version ahead of schedule for most phones, it wouldn’t be surprising to see the update being seeded weeks or months before the planned date.

Having said that, we will continue to track all developments regarding the availability of One UI 3.0 based on Android 11 for the Samsung Galaxy A50s and will post an update once new details surface.

In the meantime, you can also take a look at our dedicated tracker to know more about the status of One UI 3.0 for all eligible Samsung phones.
