New updates are being added at the bottom of this story…….

Original story (published on December 04, 2020) follows:

Samsung has been pretty busy with its Android 11-based One UI 3.0 update and the public beta version was reportedly ready for the Galaxy Note 20 series in early October.

While the Galaxy Note 20 series indeed got the said public beta update later in the same month, the One UI 3.0 stable update is expected to arrive in January 2021.

Now, it seems that the OEM might start rolling out the latest OS update to the Galaxy Note 20 a month before the scheduled rollout.

The information comes from Twitter where Max Weinbach has tweeted the possible release dates for the One UI 3.0 update for a couple of devices.

As per the tweet, the Galaxy Note 20 might start receiving the said update from December 14 whereas the Galaxy S20 FE might get the same on December 27.

The OEM has not made any official announcements on the matter, hence, the latest info should be taken with a pinch of salt.

However, Samsung did release the One UI 2.0 update to some of its premium devices a month before the scheduled rollout way back in 2019.

This means the latest information about One UI 3.0 might be true but nothing is confirmed until Samsung makes matters official.

The Galaxy S20 FE is not listed in the official One UI 3.0 timeline but it is eligible for the latest OS update along with the Galaxy S10e and Galaxy A50s which are also not listed but eligible.

Moreover, Samsung has even promised three Android OS updates for several devices and some of the devices from the Galaxy S, Galaxy Note, and Galaxy A series are among them.

That said, we will keep tracking this for further development and will provide more details once new information becomes available.
