OnePlus has traditionally been known for packing the absolute highest-end specs into its devices at an affordable or reasonable price compared to equally spec’d devices.
This has made OnePlus devices a favorite for many users seeking to get the most out of their hardware. Gamers have, therefore, hailed OnePlus devices for this reason.
One of gamers’ favorite OnePlus devices in recent times is the OnePlus 8T, and for good reason. Aside from donning 2020 flagship internals and the latest Android 11-based OxygenOS 11, the device has a 120Hz display.
This ensures a smooth gaming experience for users that are fond of playing even the most demanding titles on their devices, or at least it should.
According to some OnePlus 8T users, they are unable to play PUBG mobile at 90Hz on their devices. See, OnePlus was the first to add 90fps support to PUBG Mobile with the OnePlus 8 series.
As it turns out, the same isn’t extended to users of the OnePlus 8T as they’re stuck with 60Hz despite selecting the 90Hz option in PUBG settings.
Having 120 hz refresh rate and not giving 90fps is like…A big mistake ….I am very unhappy with one plus 8t as it is not full filling my needs…UPDATE NEEDED ASAP…#NOT DONE ONE PLUS…!!?

Please bring the feature of 90fps in pubg OnePlus 8T because it shows only the option of 90 fps but in reality it shows 60 fps only on real time fps meter.

Pubg has enabled 90fps for oneplus 8t. But i am not getting 90fps they are saying enable corresponding fps on mobil even after 120hz is enabled

Many of these users (1,2,3,4,5,6) note that the PUBG game on their OnePlus 8T devices asks them to set the device’s display settings to match the 90Hz set in the game.
This, despite already having the device running at the said refresh rate already. This has been widely reported to OnePlus through the community forum.
However, in response to one of these user complaints, a head moderator on the OnePlus community forum seems to be throwing PUBG under the bus, asking users to contact the game developers for support.
Contact pubg support, is up to them to enable this.

It really does defeat the purpose to own a 120Hz display and yet not be able to take advantage of it in games as many of these users.
We can only hope that OnePlus and PUBG developers work with haste to enable this feature on these devices for a more seamless gaming experience for users.
