New updates are being added at the bottom of this story…….

Original story (published on December 08, 2020) follows:

Realme is one of the few non-Google smartphone companies that provide comprehensive Android OS roadmaps for eligible devices.

We saw it with last year’s Realme UI 1.0 update rollout that tagged along the goodies Google baked into Android 10 back then and recently, Realme UI 2.0 update.

The latter is based on Android 11 and is, in fact, already rolling out in stable version to the Realme X50 Pro.

The Realme UI 2.0 beta testing phase for the X50 Pro lasted about six weeks following its release in mid-October. As expected, it is the first device to get the stable version.

Realme UI 2.0 update is also coming to the Realme X2 Pro, with the early access rollout expected from December 10 onwards.

The likes of Realme 7 Pro and Realme Narzo 20 are already enjoying early access to Android 11 courtesy of Realme UI 2.0. Unlike the X50 Pro, it is likely the beta testing phase could be shorter.

Granted, the duo could bag the stable update towards the end of December, which should be a nice little gift to usher in the New Year.

At around the same time, Realme will also begin rolling out Realme UI 2.0 update to Realme 6 Pro users who’d like to try the early access version to Android 11. This is according to Realme support on Twitter.

The Early Access for realme UI 2.0 based on Android 11 for your realme (6Pro) will start to roll out at the end of (Dec.) for selected users only.

Although we already knew about the availability of Realme UI 2.0 early access for the Realme 6 Pro this month, this new development is perhaps the closest we’ve come to knowing the actual release date.

But as usual, software update release dates should always be taken with a pinch of salt, especially if coming from company support on social media and community forums.

We will keep an eye on this development and let you know when exactly the Realme 6 Pro bags the update to Android 11. As noted, it should arrive this month.

Meanwhile, check out some of the features to expect when the beta/stable Realme UI 2.0 hits your device later this year or in 2021.

You may also keep an eye on our tracker to know when the Realme UI 2.0 update rolls out to your handset.

Update 1 (December 22)

06:30 pm (IST): According to information shared by Realme’s official support account on Twitter, the stable Android 11 update along with the Realme UI 2.0 skin is live for the Realme 7 and Realme 6 Pro. However, there are no reports from any users to confirm the same. More details here.
