Xiaomi Mi A3 Android 11 update release under preparation, along with Redmi Note 9 Pro/Max, Poco M2 Pro and others

Xiaomi Mi A3 is a part of the Android One program and it is also among those devices that are due for the Android 11 update.

The OEM also started testing Android 11 on the Mi A3 internally back in October but it has only received security updates since then.

Now, an Android 11 update list has surfaced for several Xiaomi devices including the Mi A3, Redmi Note 9 Pro, Redmi Note 9 Pro Max, and Poco M2 Pro.

As per the recently updated list, the aforementioned devices might get Android 11 soon as the OEM is preparing the stable version for release.

Apart from the devices listed above, the list also includes the Redmi K20 (aka Mi 9T), Redmi K30 (aka Poco X3), and Redmi K30i 5G.

– Redmi K20 / Mi 9T, Redmi Note 9 Pro Max, Redmi K30 / Poco X3, Redmi K30i 5G ,Redmi Note 9 Pro, Redmi Note 9 Pro Max, Poco M2 Pro and Mi A3 are preparing to stable release.

– Mi 10T Lite / Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G / Mi 10i, Redmi Note 9 4G (China) / Redmi 9T / Redmi 9 Power and Redmi Note 9 5G are preparing to open beta.

Also, the Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G/Mi 10T Lite/Mi 10i, Redmi Note 9 4G (China)/Redmi 9T/Redmi 9 Power, and Redmi Note 9 5G are being prepared for the Android 11 open beta.

While the OEM has not made any comments on the matter, the list should be taken with a pinch of salt.

However, it may be possible that some or all the aforementioned devices might get the said updates as per the shared list.

It must be noted that the Mi 10 series, Redmi K30 Pro (aka Poco F2 Pro), and Redmi Note 9 Pro (India) have already bagged the stable Android 11 update.

Xiaomi has a rather large number of devices that are eligible for Android 11 but only time will tell how the OEM plans on upgrading these devices.
