Xiaomi releases its weekly MIUI bug report addressing many bugs and issues that are present on its in-house custom skin.
The OEM addressed issues including the Redmi Note 7/7S camera FC, Redmi 6 Pro system lag, and Poco X3 audio server crash is last week’s bug report.
Now, Xiaomi has shared another volume of the weekly MIUI bug report which outlines several issues that are either device specific or are present across all Xiaomi devices.
The bug report has addressed the Mi 10 swipe up gesture not working issue by stating that gesture navigation is not supported with third-party launchers on Android 11.
Also, there is an issue where users of the Redmi 9A and Redmi 9C are unable to hang up the call or switch on the speakerphone on the global, Russian, and European MIUI 12 ROMs.
For this issue, the OEM has asked users to uninstall the Google Phone app updates. However, this has been mentioned as a temporary solution.
Moreover, there is the random reboot issue on some European and global MIUI 11 builds for the Redmi Note 9 Pro for which Qualcomm has released a new case.
This means that the OEM might still be working on a permanent fix for both the aforementioned issues which might take some time to arrive.
Apart from this, the MIUI Security app force close/no response and find device closed unexpectedly/device reboot issues have also been addressed.
For the Security app force close/no response issue, the OEM released a new self-upgrade on November 22 and the number of user reports regarding this issue has decreased since November 23.
Nevertheless, the find device closed unexpectedly/device reboot issue will be fixed in the next OTA update while complaints about the same are increasing.
That said, we will keep tracking the development of MIUI 12 and will provide more details once new information becomes available.
