Realme has been busy with its Realme UI 2.0 (Android 11) update which offers a lot of handy features and improvements.
Also, the OEM conducts OS Q&A sessions with developers to discuss existing features while taking user feedback as well.
Now, Realme appears to be starting another initiative which will focus on new features and suggestions from users.
The OEM is calling this initiative “New Features Proposal Room” and it is similar to that of OnePlus IDEAS initiative.
While the said program is currently limited to China, it is expected to be available globally in the future.
However, this is still based on our speculation as Realme has not made any comments on whether the said initiative will go live for the global community or not.
For the first post, Realme appears to be discussing the desktop widget feature of the Android-based Realme UI.
It seems that the OEM is looking for user feedback on making widgets on Realme UI more user friendly and efficient.
Nevertheless, the “New Features Proposal Room” program is indeed about making Realme UI a far more optimized and efficient custom skin.
Hopefully, more OEMs work on such initiatives as doing so would make it easier to get ideas about new handy features while improving the existing ones.
That said, we will keep tracking this for further development and will provide more details once new information becomes available.
In the meantime, the OEM has started rolling out the Realme UI 2.0 (Android 11) stable update and have dedicated tracker for the same that you can also go through.
