Xiaomi’s MIUI 12 has reached most eligible devices but there are still several issues on the latest custom skin that require fixing.
The OEM has released its weekly MIUI bug report addressing some issues that are still present on MIUI 12 and MIUI 11 builds for various devices.
The latest MIUI bug report outlines the Poco X3 Discord app and audio server crash issues along with the Redmi 6 Pro system lag issue.
The Discord app and audio server crash bug fixes have been merged with the developer build but it is not mentioned when these fixes will hit the stable channel.
As for the Redmi 6 Pro system lag problem, the OEM is still working on a MIUI 12 lite build which might reduce system load enabling a smoother and faster experience.
Apart from that, the Redmi Note 7/7S has an issue which causes the Camera app to force close on a couple of MIUI 11 builds.
The OEM has shared this case with Qualcomm for further analysis but there is no word on how long will it take to fix this problem.
While the aforementioned issues are device specific, there are a couple of issues that are present across all devices.
The “find device closed unexpectedly” and MIUI System Apps updater issues were present on multiple devices but it seems that Xiaomi has addressed both problems.
The System Apps updater issue was supposedly fixed on November 3, 2020 while the “find device closed unexpectedly” and device rebooting problems were addressed on November 6, 2020.
It is good to see that the OEM has been steadily working on addressing issues that are present on all Xiaomi devices along with device specific bugs.
