There are numerous reports from users on the Mi Community where they are unable to fetch the Android 10-based MIUI 12 update on the MIUI System updater.

Also, users of the device in question have taken to the Mi Stable Tester-Global Telegram channel to report the same.

Now, it seems that those on the MIUI 11.0.11.0 build for the Redmi Note 8 global variant are most affected.

The same has also been confirmed by the Xiaomi feedback team members on the Mi Community while also stating that the issue is being worked upon.

The feedback team members have asked users to be patient for the developers are already working to resolve the OTA issue on priority.

The same has been announced on the Xiaomi Global Community Telegram channel which means those on the MIUI 11.0.11.0 build will have to wait until the developers fix the issue.

Dear user.
Sorry for the inconvenience. Please note that MIUI 12 has released to all users of Redmi Note 8 Global and China but the users using 11.0.11.0 Global are facing the issue with the update. If you are using 11.0.11.0 Global rom, please wait patiently and try to update later. If you are using other roms, it hasn’t released yet, it will release once it is ready by devs. Thanks
