Poco started as Xiaomi’s sub-brand but it has grown into an independent OEM with devices like the Poco F1 and the newly released Poco X3.

While the OEM’s focus lies in delivering best in class smartphones at affordable prices, Poco fans are always curious about new avenues in which the OEM could grow.

Poco recently held the eighth iteration of its AMA (Ask Me Anything) session on YouTube addressing several user concerns.

The Country Director and General Manager at Poco India, Anuj Sharma and Manmohan Chandolu, addressed several queries regarding three years of Android OS updates, Poco X3 call recording support, Poco Launcher issues, and much more.

Users also asked whether Poco is looking forward to launch its own E-commerce platform in the form of an official Poco app or Poco Store.

The high-level executives at Poco India addressed the official Poco Store or Poco app query positively by stating that the OEM is open to explore such an opportunity in the future.

Apart from that, the OEM is currently working on addressing the Poco Launcher issues that users have been reporting about and the executives have also highlighted the same in the AMA session.

Also, the Poco X3 call recording support has been enabled by Google as per the executives and those who have not received the feature yet will get it soon.

As for the three Android OS updates for Poco devices, the executives did not commit anything and stated that a lot of factors are involved when it comes to software updates.

They also did not deny the idea of three Android OS updates which indicates that the OEM might consider such a policy in the future. However, this is still based on speculation.

You can check out the complete AMA session below which also outlines queries related to heating issues, Adaptive display refresh rate on the Poco X3, and much more.

That said, we are constantly tracking the development of Poco devices so stay tuned to get the latest updates regarding the same.
