2020 saw OnePlus release the OnePlus Nord, its first non-Snapdragon 8xx device ever.

While not underpowered in any sense of the word, the device represents OnePlus’ renewed focus on the affordable device segment.

The OnePlus Nord is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G chip and sports a massive 4115mAh battery, a 6.44 inch Full HD display with 90Hz, and much more.

All in all, a really decent Android device that should offer users the best of OnePlus and still be easy on the battery hence better endurance.

Unfortunately, the device hasn’t been without a few issues. Recently, we saw reports of OnePlus Nord users facing Bluetooth connectivity and battery drain issues.

Well, that is not the only issue bugging users of this new device. Reports are now surfacing that hint towards an issue with the OnePlus Nord’s network stability.

According to affected users, this issue started afflicting their device after the OxygenOS 10.5.9 update.

I just updated to Oxygen 10.5.9.AC01BA. At restart, although my mobile network is on, it doesn’t connect anymore or doesn’t seem to make attempts at reconnecting. Restarting the phone or turning the mobile data on and off again doesn’t help.

From these complaints, it is clear that while some users are blaming the OxygenOS 10.5.9 update for this problem, it could be affecting earlier builds as well.

The reports of poor internet speeds, auto disconnection while playing games among others, continue to dominate OnePlus Nord community forums.

My data speed is fast I’m using airtel in Bangalore but my internet speed is very low on my phone sometimes it takes time to reconnect or retry.

This issue is amplified for online gamers who keep getting kicked out because of the OnePlus Nord Network issues.

We can only hope that OnePlus obliges and offers these affected users a solution to this network stability issue once and for all.

OnePlus Nord still runs on Android 10-based OxygenOS 10 and is in line for an update to OxygenOS 11. Unofficial reports hinted at a November release of that update. Could this issue be fixed in that build?
