MIUI 12 seems to be constantly evolving as the OEM has been providing new features while updating the existing ones like Super Wallpapers, VLOG mode, and more.
Back in October, we saw the Android 11-based MIUI 12 beta update which brought back tap gestures along with new VLOG mode templates.
Now, Xiaomi has announced that the new VLOG mode features are now available for the global Mi 10, Mi 9, Mi Note 10 series, and other unspecified Xiaomi devices.
This means that the VLOG mode “Story” and “Rythm” templates along with other improvements have been released for the global variants of the aforementioned devices.
The announcement was made as part of the global Redmi Note 8 MIUI 12 update version 12.0.1.0.QCOMIXM poll which is yet to reach all users.
For New Features: Vlog features have been released globally, such as Mi Note 10, Mi 9, Mi 10 series and others. Pls follow up the updates and there will be more updates in the future.
However, it must be noted that some new features are not available for MIUI 12 running devices like Pocophone F1, also known as Poco F1 in India.
Also, not all devices that have received or will receive the new MIUI 12 VLOG mode features have been mentioned in the said post.
So, it is still unclear whether the OEM plans to deliver the new features to the likes of Pocophone F1 in the future or not.
Xiaomi has been steadily progressing with MIUI 12 while few devices are still in line to get the latest custom skin.
However, there is no word on whether or not the remaining Xiaomi devices will get all the improvements along with MIUI 12 including the new VLOG mode features.
That said, we will keep tracking the development of MIUI 12 and will provide more details once new information becomes available.
In the meantime, you can check out our MIUI 12 update tracker to get the latest updates on the topic.
