New updates are being added at the bottom of this story…….

Original story (published on October 27, 2020) follows:

The new version of Android, Android 11, has been out for a little over a month. With that, many OEMs are on a crunch, struggling to develop and test their respective Android 11 skins on their eligible devices.

In line with that, we have a dedicated Android 11 tracker to keep tabs on all development surrounding this new version of Android across various major OEMs.

Samsung has already pushed out public beta builds for the Galaxy S20 series of devices. Only yesterday, we saw reports of Android 11-based One UI 3.0 test builds for the Exynos Galaxy Note 10+ in Europe.

Well, in the spirit of consistency, today we’re getting reports that the Korean tech giant is rolling out One UI 3.0 beta for the Galaxy Note 20 in the U.S.

In a tweet by a Samsung Care Ambassador, it is confirmed that indeed, the One UI 3 Beta (Android 11) build is now available for users of the Galaxy Note 20.

This new update weighs in at a little over 2GB and can be identified by its software version number ZTJG. The changelog is pretty extensive (obviously) and is attached below.

This is good news as it only goes to show that Samsung is actively working and developing Android 11 for this device.

We have a dedicated One UI 3.0 tracker and you can check it out on this and more Android 11 updates from Samsung.

While on the same One UI 3.0 subject, it is coming to light that Samsung is already testing out this firmware on the Galaxy S10 Lite.

In a screenshot from the CheckFirm app, a tool used by Samsung users to check for software updates on their devices, a new Android 11 build is spotted dated October 24.

Little else is known about this update other than it is available for the Galaxy S10 Lite with model number SM-G770F (XSG), the United Arab Emirates variant.

That said, chances are that Galaxy S10 Lite units will be among the devices that get updated to Android 11 soon after the Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy S20 series.

Again, you might want to stay tuned to our dedicated One UI 3.0 tracker to be first to know when such builds are made available.
