Xiaomi is still fine-tuning MIUI 12 and updates with new features as well as improvements for the existing ones like Super Wallpapers and Control Center keep on arriving.

While there are several devices in Xiaomi’s portfolio that are yet to bag MIUI 12, it is still good to see an OEM striving to refine user experience.

Now, a new MIUI 12 update has arrived which brings along more new features to the Control Center among other improvements.

The update version 12.0.13, at least for those using the Mi 10 Ultra back in China, adds smart life functions to Control Center which makes it easier to control connected devices.

Also, the Control Center layout has been optimized to better support the landscape orientation.

Apart from that, the latest update offers cross-screen collaboration which allows users to operate their phone through a PC.

With the help of cross-screen collaboration, users can easily edit and send files from their phone to the connected PC.

Moreover, cross-screen collaboration makes multitasking on a connected phone hassle free as users can open multiple phone windows through their PC.

Once again, it must be noted that this update is currently available only for the Mi 10 Ultra in China and the wait for other Xiaomi devices is still on.

While these changes might eventually make their way to other MIUI 12 running devices, it is unclear when this is going to transpire.

Nevertheless, it is good to see that the MIUI 12 development appears to be progressing steadily while Xiaomi has also been working on its Android 11 update.
