There are several Xiaomi devices that are yet to get the MIUI 12 update but details about MIUI 13 keep on surfacing.

We reported earlier that the upcoming MIUI 13 update might bring a new power menu which was later declared as a scam.

Also, it has been stated by Xiaomi engineers that the development on the next iteration of MIUI has started with more focus on optimizing the animations.

Apart from that, the OEM has claimed to bring more user-friendly features with the MIUI 13 update. More on that here.

Now, some new information has surfaced which suggests that the upcoming custom skin from Xiaomi might include enhanced AI call recording features.

The information comes from Twitter where details of some MIUI 13 AI call recording features have been posted and the same has also been certified by CNIPA.

As per the shared info, the new AI call recording GUI will show contact numbers in the call recording list of the application.

The recorded conversations will also be displayed as chats while listening to a call recording which means the new AI call recording GUI will incorporate speech-to-text conversion.

However, the credibility of this info is still unclear as the OEM has not made any announcements on the features that the next MIUI iteration will incorporate for sure.

Moreover, it is safe to assume that any legitimate info about the upcoming custom skin from Xiaomi is not going to be out this early as the OEM is still not done with the development of MIUI 12.

That said, we will keep tracking this for further development and will provide updates when new information becomes available.
