Android 11 is already out for several devices in the form of beta and stable versions but the likes of Moto G8 Power Lite, Nokia 3.1, and Nokia 5.1 are still in line to get Android 10.

While the Moto G8 Power Lite has already received the Android 10 update in Brazil, Indian users have been waiting for it for a very long time.

Now, it seems that the Android 10 update is finally rolling out to the Moto G8 Power Lite in India.

The information comes in the form of a tweet from the Motorola India Fans Twitter handle but an official announcement is still awaited.

This news comes as a relief for Indian Moto G8 Power Lite users as the wait for the OS update is finally over.

Nokia 3.1 was supposed to get Android 10 in the second quarter of 2020 but the OS update is finally being rolled out to the device in question now.

A Nokia staff member has shed some light on the first wave of Android 10 update rollout for Nokia 3.1 which started yesterday i.e. October 7.

As per the shared details, all Nokia 3.1 regional variants listed in the first wave will receive the Android 10 update by October 12.

10% of all these approved markets will receive the Update today. 50% by Oct 10th and on Oct 12th, 100% of these approved markets will have received Android 10.

With the Nokia 3.1 now out of the way, owners of the Nokia 5.1, which was slated to receive Android 10 in Q2 2020, are now concerned about the availability of the OS on their device.

Much to their delight, the Chief Product Officer at HMD Global, Juho Sarvikas, has stated that the Nokia 5.1 Android 10 update will roll out soon.

Since the CPO at HMD mentioned that the update will be out in approximately 24 hours, Nokia 5.1 might start receiving Android 10 from today.

While Nokia is among the fastest OEMs when it comes to delivering software updates, the same cannot be said for Motorola since it was taken over by Lenovo.

That said, both OEMs can now focus on the latest OS update from Google for their eligible devices.

As we mentioned above, the Android 10 update for the Nokia 5.1 was scheduled to roll out today. And well, Nokia has indeed made an official announcement regarding the release of Android 10 for the device in several regions that are part of the first wave.

The Android 10 update for the Nokia 5.1 has now made its way over to handsets in Sweden. Users are receiving the update as version 4.160. Apart from the obvious Android 10 features, it also brings the September patch to the device. More details here.
