Vivo launched the Vivo V20 series back in September while also teasing the Funtouch OS 11 (Android 11) update.
Also, Vivo India has updated its official website outlining all major details of the upcoming Android 11-based Funtouch OS 11.
Many features like Live Always-on-Display, Jovi Home, AI Editor, and more have been detailed on the website.
However, two new features have now surfaced that will further improve the camera functionality on Vivo devices.
The Funtouch OS 11 (Android 11) update is going to include the night video and starry night modes in the Camera app for night photography.
While the OEM has not mentioned these events on the Funtouch OS 11 page, the information comes from users who have found these features on the Vivo V20 series devices.
It must be noted that the recently launched Vivo V20 series devices offer Android 11-based Funtouch OS 11 out-of-the-box.
This means that the latest custom skin and OS update might bring these camera modes to other eligible Vivo devices as well.
Vivo has been testing the Android 11 update on the Vivo iQOO 3, Vivo iQOO 3 5G, and Vivo NEX 3S for quite some time now.
So, it is safe to assume that these devices might get the night video and starry night modes along with the Funtouch OS 11 (Android 11) update.
Nevertheless, this is still based on our speculation as Vivo has not made any announcements regarding the camera features yet.
Also, night photography requires high-end specs so it is also possible that all Funtouch OS 11 eligible devices might not get these features.
That said, we will keep tracking the development of Funtouch OS 11 (Android 11) and will provide updates when more information becomes available.
In the meantime, you can check out our Vivo Android 11 (Funtouch OS 11) update tracker to track the latest updates on the topic.
