Original story (published on September 08, 2020) follows:
OnePlus is one of the few Android OEMs that enrolled their devices into the official Android 11 developer preview program. The OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro are the two devices that got the nod, both in China (HydrogenOS) and outside China (OxygenOS).
While the company initially expected to push three developer preview updates to the OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro units, the duo ended up receiving another (fourth) update not long ago. As expected, this was to prepare them for the release of the public beta update.
Well, as of this writing, folks using the Chinese variants of OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro can now join the public beta program to try HydrogenOS 11 update based on Android 11 OS.
Dear refueling, thank you for the hydrogen OS 11 public test version of the look forward to and attention! This public test version is currently in the Google review process and may not be available on September 8 due to timely review process issues. The installation package will be attached later. Please be patient with the refuelers. Thank you very much.
