Owners of the Asus ZenFone Max Pro M2 and M1 have been waiting for the Android 10 stable update for quite a long time now.
While the Android 10 beta updates are out for both devices, there is still no news on when the stable version will roll out.
Now, it seems that the OEM has again released a couple of Android 10 beta updates for the global ZenFone Max Pro M1 and M2 units with several bug-fixes.
The information comes from the Italian ZenTalk community where the release notes for the Android 10 beta 3 and beta 4 updates have been provided for the ZenFone Max Pro M2 and M1 respectively.
For the ZenFone Max Pro M2 beta 3 update, the OEM is providing fixes for several audio-related problems including audio quality with earphones, audio bass problem, and issues with changing the ringtone.
The ZenFone Max Pro M1 Android 10 beta 4 update offers fixes for VoIP call and Google assistant conflict, Hami Pay compatibility issue, issue related to payment cards when used in NFC mode, and unable to set up Google Pay issue.
Apart from that, the updates bring along the Android security patches to the ZenFone Max Pro M2 and M1 albeit not the latest ones.
The ZenFone Max Pro M2 gets the July security patch whereas the ZenFone Max Pro M1 gets the August security patch with the beta 3 and beta 4 updates respectively.
It must be noted that Asus has been slowly but steadily fixing the issues and bugs on the ZenFone Max Pro series Android 10 update.
Also, the OEM has also addressed users’ demands for new features while accepting or denying them based on feasibility. More on that here.
The download links are not yet available for the latest Android 10 betas so we will update this story once the links are made available by the OEM.
Also, it seems that Asus has been testing the quality of both beta updates which is why the download links have not been made available so far.
That said, with Android 11 already out for a bunch of devices, we hope Asus speeds up the development of the Android 10 update for the ZenFone Max Pro M1 and M2.
Meanwhile, you can check out our Asus Android 10 update tracker to know when it arrives on your device. Moreover, we also have a dedicated Asus Android 11 update tracker so be sure to go through it as well.
Note: We have a dedicated Asus section so be sure to have a look at it for more such stories.
