The Xiaomi Mi Note 10 released back in 2019 and came with Android 9 Pie running alongside MIUI 11. Since then, the device has picked up the Android 10 update. Further, it has been in line to receive the MIUI 12 update which was first announced by Xiaomi in China.
FYI, the Mi Note 10 is sold as the Mi CC9 Pro in China, where the device has already bagged the MIUI 12 update. However, Mi Note 10 users outside of China are still waiting for the stable MIUI 12 update to begin rolling out on their devices.
Well, it seems that the wait for the MIUI 12 update is finally over. At least for users with the Global variant of the Mi Note 10. This is because Xiaomi seems to have begun rolling out the update via OTA to users.
The new update comes as version 12.0.1.0.QFDMIXM that has been bumped up from 11.1.3.0.QFDMIXM. The OTA size for the MIUI 12 update on the Global Mi Note 10 units is 840MB. In case you aren’t willing to wait to receive the OTA package, you can manually download the update via the link below:

Now that the update has been rolled out for the Global units, it should begin rolling out in Indonesia as well since the update is scheduled to release in August in the country. But that’s not the only Xiaomi phone to bag the MIUI 12 update.
In fact, on the subject of the updates in Indonesia, it now seems that the Redmi Note 8 Pro is beginning to get the much-awaited MIUI 12 update as well. The update comes as version 12.0.1.0.QGGIDXM, up from version 11.0.2.0.QGGIDXM.
Prior to this, the MIUI 12 update for the Redmi Note 8 Pro was released in China and for the Global models. Further, it has also been released to users in India and as we reported earlier, it was set to arrive in August for users in Indonesia.

Xiaomi has shed some light on why many Redmi Note 8 Pro users have still not received the stable MIUI 12 update even though the company had begun rolling out the update in a few regions a while back. For more details, head here.
Update 2 (September 15)
IST 06:59 pm: It seems that Xiaomi has released the stable MIUI 12 update for the Mi Note 10 and Mi Note 10 Pro in Indonesia. Both devices essentially share the same hardware besides the ROM and RAM and thus qualify for the same MIUI ROM.
The update is live as version V12.0.2.0.QFDIDXM and will be hitting the Mi Note 10 and Mi Note 10 Pro units in Indonesia over the air. In case you do not wish to wait, you can download MIUI 12 for either of the two devices via the link below:
