Asus ROG Phone 3 is a powerful gaming device that offers the latest Snapdragon 865+ chipset with Android 10-based ROG UI out-of-the-box. However, the game-ready smartphone has been surrounded by a lot of issues.

The most common and persistent ROG Phone 3 problem has been the black crush issue. While the root cause of the issue was identified, a moderator stated that it could take weeks to fix it. Apart from this, there is the overheating issue for which a FOTA was promised.

Moreover, there have been multiple issues related to AeroActive Cooler 3, auto-brightness, faulty slow-charging mode, and more. Now, another issue appears to be spoiling the user experience on the ROG Phone 3 as users are experiencing the ghost touch issue while playing PUBG Mobile.

Many users are reporting the ROG Phone 3 PUBG Mobile ghost touch issue on the ZenTalk community. A user has also stated that they tried disabling the three finger screenshot option but the issue was still persistent and they were not able to use the firing button in PUBG Mobile properly.

A ZenTalk moderator acknowledged the ghost touch reports after reviewing the original poster’s gameplay videos while also stating that the issue is being looked into. Also, the moderator provided a temporary workaround which is to make the firing button in PUBG Mobile smaller.

In both videos I can see that the gun stops firing because of ghost touch. We’re looking into this but the short term workaround is to make your firing button much smaller. I hope you can have patience until we’ve found the root cause to why you get ghost touches.

Also, the moderator asked if any screen protector is being used or if the glove mode has been activated to which the original poster stated that they have not activated the glove mode and are using the official Asus screen protector.

The moderator also stated that they will share more details once the root cause of the issue has been identified. Nevertheless, the acknowledgement of the issue itself comes as a relief for Asus ROG Phone 3 users.

That said, we will provide updates once more information becomes available. In the meantime, you can check out our dedicated Asus section for more such stories.
