NOTICE: We’ve compiled a comprehensive Android 11 update tracker for all the major OEMs and carriers, and will be updating it continuously.

BLU (Bold Like Us) is well-known for its budget smartphone offerings in the U.S, where the company is headquartered. However, like most other OEMs, BLU also has its phones manufactured in China.

This allows the company to offer some great affordable smartphones such as the BLU G9 Pro. It offers a four-camera setup with three rear sensors and one selfie camera. Apart from this, the G9 Pro comes with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.

In July, BLU kick-started the Android 10 beta program for the device. Prior to this, it was running on Android 9 Pie which came pre-installed. Although, we’re yet to see any reports regarding the stable release.

That said, it’s good to see the company putting in the effort to even kick-start the beta program. BLU has been notorious when it comes to software updates since the OEM generally pumps device after device into the market without providing long-term software support.

Several smartphones from BLU have not received a single major OS update up to date. And with Android 11 around to corner, you may be interested in knowing whether your smartphone from BLU will be eligible for the update.

Therefore, we’ve listed out all the devices from BLU Mobile that may be eligible for the update to Android 11. Of course, this is not an official confirmation from BLU, instead, it’s an educated guess based on past trends and update cycles from BLU:

BLU Mobile devices eligible for Android 11 update

Like we mentioned earlier, BLU does not have a good track record when it comes to providing Android updates. However, the company has released at least one major Android update for some of its devices in the past.

But since the company does not guarantee any number of OS updates, it’s hard to pin-point which phones will get the update and which phones will miss out on an update.

That said, we expect any new phone from BLU that launched with Android 10 will be eligible for the update to Android 11. Unfortunately, that isn’t a big list as you can see below:

BLU G90 Pro
BLU G90
BLU Studio X10
BLU G80

Since this isn’t an official list, there are chances that there may be some changes in the devices BLU considers to release Android 11 for. Therefore, we will update the list if and when a new eligible device pops up.

Moreover, at present, BLU has not divulged any details regarding its plans for the rollout of Android 11 for any of its devices. So stay tuned to PiunikaWeb to know more about the Android 11 rollout for devices from BLU or any other OEM for that matter.
