Nokia 2.2 was released in June 2019 with Android 9 Pie out-of-the-box. The Android One smartphone from Nokia bagged the Android 10 update back in July 2020. However, the OS update triggered some bugs including the missing notifications issue on Nokia 2.2.
The OEM released another update as version V2.370 which which fixed these issues and Nokia 2.2 will now receive monthly security updates at least until Android 11 gets ready for it. Now, it seems that Nokia 2.2 users are facing some issues after the August update.
Many users have been reporting on online platforms that they are facing Bluetooth connectivity issues after updating their Nokia 2.2 with the August security patch. The OEM is yet to acknowledge this issue but it appears that those who received the August update are indeed affected.
As per the reports, users are unable to connect to any Bluetooth device as their phone stops responding or they are unable to use the quick settings. Some users have also stated that the issue is causing device settings to crash and is persistent even after a factory reset.
While Nokia is yet to address the issue on a wider scale, issues related to Bluetooth connectivity can be pretty serious. This is because many users are highly dependent on Bluetooth devices simply because of their ease-of-access.
Hopefully, the OEM looks into the matter and provides a fix for the Bluetooth issue soon as Nokia 2.2 users are getting restless. That said, we will keep tracking this for further development and will provide updates once more information becomes available so stay tuned to PiunikaWeb.
