MIUI 12 continues to cause ripples in the Xiaomi community as its rollout nears completion. We have a well-maintained tracker dedicated to keeping tabs on MIUI 12’s rollout to various eligible devices in supported regions.
As more and more devices continue to bag this update, a few issues are cropping up. I guess this is to be expected with any new piece of software, especially one that is as comprehensive as a redesigned skin. We also have a MIUI 12 bug tracker and you can check it out here.
Today, we are getting reports from a section of MIUI 12 users that they are unable to find the ‘Sync’ option on their devices’ Control Center. It is unclear what is causing this ‘disappearance’ but according to a forum moderator, this is a known issue and the developers are working on it.

Another bunch of Xiaomi users experiencing issues with their Control Centre are users of the Poco F2 Pro running MIUI 12. According to affected users, their Control Centre does not have a blurred background and as a result, the quick toggles appear as an overlay on top of the display.
When responding to a user who had reported this issue on Xiaomi’s Community forum, a moderator proceeds to confirm that this is a known issue and that it is being looked into.
Hey,
Its known issue and has been reported. It will be fixed in the upcoming updates

We can only hope that this issue gets the attention it needs promptly. As Xiaomi has already promised a fix in the next update, affected users should rest easy knowing that this issue will surely be fixed.
We shall continue to keep an eye on this and other MIUI 12 bugs and update as and when they get fixed. You might, therefore, want to regularly check our MIUI 12 bug tracker for that and more.
