Original story (published on September 02) follows:

Android 11 is just around the corner and Realme seems to be gearing up for its release. The company has already rolled out the beta version of Android 11 for the Realme X50 Pro and the X50 Pro Player Edition.

And in a brand new ‘special’ episode of #AskMadhav, Realme’s CEO has shared a ton of information in the video that runs for more than 21 minutes. In the video, Madhav Seth talks about why Realme has made certain decisions such as the choice of materials used in smartphones and more.

Further, this episode of #AskMadhav was mainly geared towards providing users some information regarding the upcoming Realme 7 series. The two new smartphones are set to be launched on September 3, i.e., tomorrow.

While all that information was interesting, what we’re here to talk about is the bit towards the end of the video. A question was directed towards Madhav regarding the Realme’s plans for the release of Android 11.

Of course, the CEO did answer the question and gave a few details regarding when users can expect to see Android 11 (Realme UI 2.0) arrive on their Realme devices. We’ve added the complete answer by Madhav to the question below:

Our Realme UI 2.0 version was developed based on Android 11. We will announce our timeline once Google makes its announcement.

What this means is that once Google releases Android 11 for the public, Realme will share its roadmap for the rollout of Android 11 for eligible devices. Needless to say, the Realme X50 Pro will be one of the first phones from the company to bag the stable update.

As usual, we will continue to track developments regarding the upcoming Android version for Realme phones and will post an update once new details emerge. In the meantime, keep an eye out on our dedicated tracker for the Android 11 update for Realme devices.
