Original story (published on September 01, 2020) follows:

Xiaomi’s MIUI 12 was unveiled back in May and many eligible devices have already bagged the latest custom skin. While the Android 10 update has reached many Xiaomi devices, the likes of Redmi Note 7 Pro are yet to bag it on a wider scale.

It was reported earlier that the OS update was released for the Redmi Note 7 Pro in China but it was still based on MIUI 11. Moreover, the Indian Redmi Note 7 Pro variant received the same earlier in August.

After some time, the OEM re-released the Android 10 update for the Redmi Note 7 Pro in India. However, the update version 11.0.2.0.QFHINXM rolled out in batches and not everyone received it. Users are already taking to online platforms asking when they will get the OS update.

Now, a Mi community moderator has stated that the OS update was partially rolled out and those who did not get it will have to wait for the next batch. This is a tad disappointing for Redmi Note 7 Pro users in India as the OS update will still be based on MIUI 11.

Hey,
Redmi Note 7 Pro already got Android 10 update partially, If you didn’t get then kindly wait for the next batch release.

While it is unclear how stable this build is but you can still give it a shot if you are adventurous enough.
