Xiaomi Mi MIX 3 is listed in the second round of the MIUI 12 update rollout schedule and the Chinese Mi MIX 3 variant has already bagged the latest custom skin. This was expected as the OEM always provides the latest updates in the home-country first.

Users of the Mi MIX 3 across the globe have been waiting for the MIUI 12 update as Xiaomi usually starts providing the update in other regions after 2-3 weeks. Now, it seems that the wait is finally over, at least for select users.

The OEM has announced that the MIUI 12 Global Beta Stable update is now rolling out to the Mi MIX 3. This means that the Mi Pilot program members can finally get their hands on the latest custom skin from Xiaomi.

The official announcement has been made on the global Mi community outlining the update version V12.0.1.0.QEEMIXM. So, you can grab the Mi MIX 3 MIUI 12 Global Beta Stable update if you are a Mi Pilot program member.

It must be noted that this update is only meant for members of the Mi Pilot program. So, it is advisable for regular users and enthusiasts to wait for the update to arrive on their device as going for manual installation of the beta stable version can damage the device.

As for the Mi MIX 5G variant, it was reported earlier that there are no software update plans but the OEM later confirmed that the MIUI 12 update is expected to arrive by October-end. Hopefully, the OEM also provides the OS upgrade to the Mi MIX 3 5G.
