[Updated] Xiaomi Mi 10 MIUI 12 update arrives in India; Mi 9 Lite gets MIUI 12 for Global, EU & Russian variants (Download links inside)

Xiaomi has a flurry of new features rolling out in a huge MIUI 12 software update to the high-end Xiaomi Mi 10 in India and last year’s Mi 9 Lite in various markets across the globe.

Having already pushed the stable MIUI 12 update to owners of the Xiaomi Mi 10 in other regions, it recently emerged that Xiaomi had silently provided Mi Pilot testers in India with access to the new skin.

We couldn’t independently verify this development at the time. But as of this writing, we can confirm that the Mi 10 is picking up a beta stable update to MIUI 12 in India.

The update is arriving as MIUI version 12.0.2.0.QJBINXM and tags along a long list of new features, optimizations and bug fixes as well.

For those who own the Xiaomi Mi 9 Lite and have either the Global, European or Russian ROM installed, there is also some good news for you. Like the Indian Mi 10, these regions are also receiving a new MIUI 12 update on the Mi 9 Lite.

On the global ROM, the update is arriving as V12.0.2.0.QFCMIXM while the European variant is picking up the same update as V12.0.2.0.QFCEUXM. In Russia, the Mi 9 Lite is receiving MIUI 12 update as version V12.0.2.0.QFCRUXM.

These are airborne updates, meaning it may take several days before all eligible units receive the new firmware. You can either wait or grab the updated firmware via the links below and install manually.

Xiaomi has now begun rolling out the stable MIUI 12 update for the Mi CC9 in China. The update comes as version 12.0.2.0.QFCCNXM, up from the previous MIUI 11-based version 11.0.4.0.QFCCNXM. You can download and install the update manually via the link(s) below:
