Original story (published on August 24) follows:

Android being an open-source platform has opened endless possibilities for OEMs across the globe. Many companies like Oppo are known to provide a seamless user experience with their custom skins. ColorsOS 7.2 from Oppo is one of the best examples of a custom UI.

Unveiled back in June, the Android 10-based ColorOS 7.2 promised a bunch of features including AI App Pre-launch, Moonlight Night View video, Oppo Lab, and much more. However, the skin is currently donned only by the Oppo Reno 4 series.

Oppo recently launched the Reno 4 Pro which offers Android 10-based ColorOS 7.2 out-of-the-box but a couple of other devices have also been under testing for some time. Moreover, there is no news on when other Oppo devices will get the ColorOS 7.2 update.

Oppo Find X2 and Oppo Find X2 Pro already received the Android 11-based ColorOS 7.2 beta update in China. Now, the OEM has hinted that the global variant of Oppo Find X2 is also going to get the Android 11-based ColorOS 7.2 beta update.

The official ColorOS 7.2 site indicates that the OEM might release the much awaited update in the near future. However, no ETA has been provided by Oppo so it is still unclear as to how long it will take for the beta update to reach Global Oppo Find X2 units.

OPPO is leading the way with ColorOS 7.2. Keep your eyes peeled for future OS updates, including the Android 11 beta release for OPPO’s Find X2.

Meanwhile, you can check out the list of devices from Oppo that we think will get the Android 11 update.
