Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Android 10 update re-released in India with August security patch, still no MIUI 12 (Download link inside)

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 released with Android 9 Pie alongside MIUI 11 back in 2019 and has since then bagged the Android 10 update. This new OS update was first released in China and then began rolling out to Global, European, and Indian units.

Unfortunately, the Android 10 update in India was pulled for some reason because a new Android 10 update is being rolled out for the Redmi Note 7 in the country. This new update comes as version 11.0.3.0.QFGINXM and is rolling out to users in India via an OTA package.

The previous Android 10 update came as version 11.0.2.0 with the June security patch. The re-released Android 10 update now brings the August security patch to the device. Moreover, it still comes with the MIUI 11 skin instead of MIUI 12.

Apart from the upgraded security patch, the new update does not bring any new major changes or improvements. Thus, the changelog for version 11.0.3.0 remains mostly the same as the previous update.
