[Updated] Samsung Galaxy S10 One UI 2.5 update reportedly under testing

Samsung is set to unveil the next Samsung Galaxy Note, presumably the Galaxy Note 20 later today at Galaxy Unpacked 2020. Early leaks indicate that the device should run the company’s One UI 2.5 out of the box.

The same One UI 2.5 is expected to be pushed out to a number of current Samsung devices from the previous generation Galaxy Note to the current Galaxy S20 devices and a number of mid-rangers. We have compiled a list of possible eligible devices and you can read more on that here.

Already, we have seen reports of One UI 2.5 being tested on a number of Samsung devices. Most recently, we got word that Samsung was testing this new build of One UI on the Galaxy Note 10 and the Galaxy Tab S5e.

Today, the same source on Weibo reports that Samsung is now testing One UI 2.5 on the Samsung Galaxy S10 and the Galaxy Note 10. This, the report alleges, is after the company finished working on One UI 2.5 for the Galaxy S20 and the Tab S5e.

While we cannot independently verify these reports, history might lay a little credibility to the reports. Back when Samsung launched the Galaxy S20 series of devices with One UI 2.1 out of the box, the previous-gen devices, the Galaxy S10 and Galaxy Note 10 were first in line for the update followed by the Note 9 and S9.

If history repeats itself, the mentioned devices; Galaxy S10, Note 10, S20 and Tab S5e, should be among the first devices to bag the update. We can only hope that Samsung strives to push out stable builds of One UI 2.5 to the eligible devices as soon as possible.

We shall continue to keep an eye on One UI 2.5 for Galaxy S10 and its development and update as soon as we get more related information so stay tuned.
