Original story (from July 03) follows:
Xiaomi Mi A3 users have had to go through a long waiting period to get their hands on the Android 10 update. After several botched updates, it finally arrived a couple of months ago.
The Mi A3 is the latest Xiaomi smartphone to be part of the Android One program. As a result, the device is also expected to receive the Android 11 update as well. You can track all that we know about the Mi A3 Android 11 update here.
Nonetheless, Mi A3 users will also be delighted to know that a new update carrying the June security patch is now rolling out. This update is for the global variants of the device. The European variant of the Mi A3 picked up the June security patch just a few days ago.
This new update carries the V11.0.16.0 QFQMIXM firmware version and is rolling out in batches. Therefore, not all users will get the update right away. At the time of writing this piece, only 1% of Xiaomi Mi A3 users have received the June security patch.
