Vivo is not a name to reckon when it comes to rolling out timely updates for its devices. Android 10 update is out for about 10 months and still, there are a lot of Vivo phones including Vivo V11 Pro waiting to get updated.
As of now, only a few of its phones have been served with the Android 10 update. For a complete list of Android 10 updated Vivo smartphones, you can check out our dedicated Vivo Android 10 update tracker.
Vivo V11 Pro has been included in the official Android 10 update roadmap, which confirms that the device will pick up the update. But there is no ETA about when it will be pushed.
And by the looks of it, it seems like the Vivo V11 Pro users might have to wait a bit longer, as the OEM has now pushed a new security update for the handset which is based on Android 9 Pie.
Notably, this new Vivo V11 Pro update bumps the security patch level to July 2020. Not only this, but this new update also brings some bug fixes for LTE network issues on the phone, dark mode, and optimizes the stability of the input methods.
Vivo V11 Pro July update is tagged with version number v6.13.5 and weighs in around 95.77 MB in size. Here is the screenshot shared by one user:
Vivo V11 Pro comes with Android Oreo out of the box and Android 10 update would be the phone’s second major OS update. And as per our speculations, the Android 11 update will not be available for V11 Pro.
All in all, V11 Pro users have to wait for some more time, before they can get their hands on all the features of Android 10. We will keep you posted about any further developments.
