New updates are being added at the bottom of this story……
Original story (published on July 8) follows:
Providing two major OS updates is what most of the smartphone OEMs adhere to, and Asus also did the same for its Asus ZenFone Max Pro M1.
This phone was launched back in 2018 with Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box and after coming up with Android 10 Beta 1 and Beta 2 updates, Asus pushed the Android 10 Beta 3 update for the Asus ZenFone Max Pro M1 a while ago.
Though these updates were expected to carry some bugs, users of Max Pro M1 took to the official community forum to complain about missing Vodafone VoLTE support after updating their phones with the Android 10 Beta 3 update in India.
You can find several user reports on this issue, some of which are mentioned below:

Fortunately, Asus has acknowledged this issue of Vodafone VoLTE not supporting Android 10 Beta 3 update on Max Pro M1 and has responded that the VoLTE compatibility depends on country and carrier for the device.
For this very reason, the Max Pro M1 model number ZB601KL does not support Vodafone VoLTE in India. Here is what the actual comment from Asus moderator reads:
Please note that VoLTE compatibility may vary by country and carrier. After checking, Vodafone VoLTE is not supported on ZB601KL. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

Taking a cue from the above clarification by Asus moderator, the Android 10 stable update for Max Pro M1 might also not support Vodafone VoLTE. We will keep you posted if something new regarding this matter comes up.
Update 1 (July 16)
According to a new comment from another Asus moderator, the Vodafone VoLTE issue is being looked into. However, there isn’t any further clarification on if and when we can expect to see the fix. See more details here.
Update 2 (July 28)
Based on new information coming from an Asus moderator and Vodafone’s official website, it appears that the ZenFone Max Pro M1 will indeed support VoLTE on the Vodafone network in India with the Android 10 update. See the full story here.
