[Live in Indonesia] Samsung Galaxy A6 (2018) One UI 2.0 (Android 10) update goes live

After the launch of the Android 10 OS back in September 2019, Samsung has been frequently updating its compatible phones. It has already updated Galaxy S10, S10e, S10+, Note 10, Note 10+ and more.

Galaxy A-series devices are also not too far behind. Namely, Galaxy A70s, Galaxy A70, Galaxy A50s, Galaxy A30, and Galaxy A8 has already bagged the One UI 2.0 (Android 10) update.

And Samsung has ticked off another A-series device, as according to a recent development, the One UI 2.0 (Android 10) update has just gone live for the Galaxy A6 (2018).

The update can currently be seen going live for the users of Galaxy A6 (2018) in France, and soon it will make its way to other regions as well.

PiunikaWeb readers should know that as per one of our earlier coverages, the Galaxy A6 (2018) was spotted running Android 10 in the Wi-Fi Alliance certification, hinting that the Android 10 update was not too far away.

Talking about the update, the airborne update hits the Galaxy A6 (2018) units in France with the build number CTB9. Moreover, the update also tags along the February 2020 security patchset as well.

Interestingly, we were able to grab the update via the Frija tool. This tool downloads the firmware file directly from the Samsung FUS (Firmware Update Server). You can read in-depth about the Frija tool by heading here.

Keep in mind that the update is being pushed via OTA in batches and will take some time in hitting all the units. However, you can also go ahead and check for the update notification by heading to Settings>>Software Update>>tap on Download and Install option.

The One UI 2.0 update is now available in Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Poland, Vietnam, Panama and the Caucasus countries. Head over here for more details.
