Slowly but steadily, the Chinese smartphone OEM, Oppo has picked up pace in pushing the Android 10 based ColorOS 7 updates for its devices.

Notably, the company has also not kept its users confused regarding the timeline of the updates and time to time, has shared its update plans for Android 10.

And now as per official reports, the beta recruitments for the Oppo R15, A9x, and A9 Android 10 (ColorOS 7) have now kick-started. It’s a no brainer that the beta program is live for the Oppo R15, A9x, and A9 users in China.

As per the May roadmap shared by Oppo, the R15 was supposed to kick start the beta update program from May 30, and it was scheduled for May 28 for the Oppo A9x and A9. But, it seems like Oppo is in a bit of hurry and has made the early bird registrations live for the users of the aforementioned devices.

Talking about the beta program for Oppo R15, A9x, and A9, as you would expect from early bird recruitment, this Android 10 (ColorOS 7) beta program has a limited quota and i.e. of 2,000 users. The recruitment channel will go live from 10:00 AM on May 28 for all the three devices.

Noticeably, those who want to get their hands on the Android 10 beta update for the Oppo R15, should make sure that they are running the ROM version C.14/C.16 and Oppo A9x/A9 users should be running A.19 in order to be eligible to receive the beta update.

The update brings in all the latest and greatest features that the ColorOS 7 has to offer for the Oppo R15, A9x, and A9 along with all the core features of Android 10 to the table. Here is what the common changelog reads:

Note that those who have successfully registered with this Android 10 (ColorOS 7) beta program for the Oppo R15, Oppo A9x and A9, will be receiving the beta update within 3 days. Moreover, those who could not get themselves registered should wait for the next batch of beta updates.
