Xiaomi is living up to its promise of bringing MIUI 12 update to its devices beginning June. A number of them have been upgraded to the new firmware back at home while the global rollout is also expected to begin soon.

Matter of fact, the likes of Xiaomi Mi 9, Mi 9T, and Mi 9T Pro already have access to the Pilot version of the global ROM. The wider rollout is expected to begin soon, probably after the company fixes the many MIUI 12 bugs discovered so far.

In China, though, the story is different. Quick on the heels of the Redmi K30 Pro Zoom Edition, a device that is also known as Poco F2 Pro in India and other markets outside China, the Redmi K30 MIUI 12 update is now rolling out in stable version.

The update is available over the air as MIUI version 12.0.2.0.QGHCNXM, up from version 11.0.15.0.QGHCNXM. The OTA file size is about 824MB and as always, it may take some time before it hits all K30 units.

Elsewhere, the Redmi K30 is known as Poco X2. Despite the two basically being the same device, the Poco X2 MIUI 12 update is still unavailable as of this writing.

On the brighter side, the fact that the K30 is getting updated to MIUI 12 means it won’t be long before the Poco X2 gets it too. Below is the full changelog as provided by Xiaomi.
