Asus ZenFone Max Pro M1 Android 10 beta update-triggered 'missing round screen corner' issue being looked into

Asus ZenFone Max Pro M1 users might be pretty baffled with the Taiwanese OEM for not making the stable Android 10 update available to them, even after staying in beta for several months.

Just a reminder that the Max Pro M1 Android 10 beta update has been available for users since January 2020. And since then, there have been no further developments with respect to the stable release.

Lately, all we’ve got are a disappointment after another, but all is not lost. The company has confirmed that support for VoWiFi function, native call recording, and video calling are not in plans for owners of the ZenFone Max Pro M1 even after Android 10 arrives.

Asus has also revealed that slow-motion video recording will not get anywhere near the ZenFone Max Pro M1 nor will ARCore support.

On the brighter side, Asus has also been accepting responsibility for a number of issues that got triggered by the ZenFone Max Pro M1 Android 10 beta update. PUBG HD graphics and poor sound quality issues have already been acknowledged.

And now the company has come out to acknowledge yet another annoying issue affecting Max Pro M1 units testing the beta version of Android 10. The issue in question is where screen corners are no longer rounded, as seen below.

Matter of fact, a ZenTalk forum moderator says the company is actively investigating the issue with an aim of fixing it sooner or later. What remains to be seen is whether the first stable Android 10 build will address this issue.
