This story is being continuously updated…. New updates are being added at the bottom…..

Original story (published on April 15) follows:

Android 10 has officially been out for seven months at this point, so it is not new by any stretch of the word. We have since, see many OEMs pushing out Android 10 to many of their devices. Samsung has updated all its eligible flagships to Android 10.

The company’s mid-range series, the Galaxy A series has also been pretty well updated to Android 10 and today, the company is updating one of the few devices in the budget-line to Android 10, the Galaxy A30s.

The Samsung Galaxy A30s was first unveiled back in August 2019 as a slight improvement to the Galaxy A30 launched earlier in the same year. The device came with a 6.40-inch AMOLED touchscreen display with a resolution of 720×1560 pixels. Samsung Galaxy A30s is powered by an octa-core Samsung Exynos 7904 processor.

Users of this device have started reporting receiving Android 10 update that brings One UI 2 features to this device.

The initial rollout of this update seems to have started with devices in Malaysia, Laos, Vietnam, Thailand, Taiwan, and the Philippines. More on this and the download links to each of this regional variants can be found here.

More regions should start getting this update in due course, as such updates are often rolled out in phases. It might be a couple of weeks, maybe even months before this update hits your specific device.

With this rollout, the Samsung Galaxy A30s joins other Galaxy A-devices that have already been updated to Android 10. These include the A30s kin, the Samsung Galaxy A30.

Other Galaxy A series phones that have receives A10:

Samsung is clearly doing something right. We can only hope for the same level of commitment and consistency from other Android phone makers. However, we are not far from the target if the recent frequency of updates from various phone makers is anything to go by.
