Nokia is one of the brands that, in the recent past, has built a name for itself in delivering the latest software updates, be it security or firmware updates, on time.
The company was in fact, one of the first few brands that came up with a dedicated Android 10 update roadmap that depicted when the Nokia phones will be getting the OS update.
The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic forced the Finnish brand to come up with a revised Android 10 roadmap, which tweaked the scheduled date of Android 10 for some of the devices.
As of present, Nokia has delivered the Android 10 updates to most of the devices under its portfolio. For a complete list of devices, you can head over to our Nokia Android 10 update tracker.
Nokia 1 is among the few of the devices that are awaiting the Android 10 OS update. If we go by the statements by the official customer support, they have been saying that the Nokia 1 will get the update in Q2 of 2020.
Hey, the Android™ 10 update for your Nokia 1 will be available by Q2 2020.

However, that changes today because, responding to a user query about the Android 10 status for the Nokia 1, the official Twitter handle of Nokia stated that the update will be released “very shortly”.
Here is what the official tweet reads:
the Android 10 update for Nokia 1 is going to be released very shortly. Stay tuned to our website and watch for it.

Along with the Nokia 1, other devices that are waiting for the Android 10 update include Nokia 3.1, 5.1, and 2.1. All these devices i.e. Nokia 3.1, 5.1, and Nokia 2.1 have recently bagged the May 2020 security patchset.
What’s common between these devices and Nokia 1 is that Nokia 1 has also grabbed the Android 9-Pie based May security update, recently.
And if we take any cue from the recent statement, we can expect Nokia 1 to be the next device in line to receive the Android 10 update from the Finnish OEM. We will keep you posted once, some more information related to this comes across our table.
