A sizable chunk of the smartphones today already run on Android 10. The few that haven’t been updated yet, are set to receive the update sometime within this quarter and that could explain the numerous Beta builds that we see around.

The Realme 5 and the Realme 5s were both expected to receive an update to Android 10 sometime this month. Since then, we have seen the two devices get a Realme UI Beta build that is based on Android 10.

Well, today, Realme is rolling out an update to both the Realme 5 and the Realme 5s. This update is going out to users of these two devices who are on the beta program and can be identified by its C.35 software version.

This update brings a number of enhancements to both devices as detailed in the following changelog.

-Optimized power consumption of standby mode
-Optimized time consuming of entering sleep
-Optimized switching rate of the Candy Crush Legend
-Optimized stability and quality of camera
-Improved some performance
Recovery
-Recovered some detail information about device

Some of the notable enhancements include that this update brings the May 2020 Android security patch level. It also optimizes power consumption on standby mode for this device while also improving the quality and stability of the camera.

With this update, the Realme 5 and Realme 5s now stand at software versions RMX1911EX_11_C.35 and RMX1925EX_11_C.35 respectively.

For now, it is a matter of waiting to see if indeed, Realme will stick to its timelines and roll out the stable build of Realme UI to the Realme 5 and the Realme 5s as earlier indicated.
