Community Days are special for Pokemon Go, as it gives trainers an opportunity to gather together in open like parks & catch the featured Pokemon. In addition, it also provides players a chance to connect with other trainers.
Pokemon Go Seedot Community Day completed on May 24. It was scheduled to take place from 11 am to 5 pm in your local timezone. Also, every Nuzleaf, that evolves into Shiftry learned the move Bullet Seed.
For the upcoming Community Days for the month of June & July, Niantic created a poll among the following four Pokemon : Squirtle, Weedle, Gastly & Sandshrew. Pokemon Go players can rejoice, as the polling has been completed.
Weedle will feature in Pokemon Go June Community Day, whereas Gastly will feature in July Community Day. Speaking of Weedle, it is a Bug-type & Poison-type Pokemon which was introduced in Generation 1. Weddle Community Day will take place on June 20.
Weedle evolves in Kakuna, which can further evolve into Beedrill. Weedle has been seen on many occasions in the anime series. The first encounter of Ash with Weedle was in the Challenge of the Samurai episode, where he tries to catch Weedle with its newly caught Pidgeotto.
However, even after knocking out Weedle & making it unconscious, Ash was not able to catch it due to an interruption from Samurai. This gives a window of escape to Weedle, but in another episode, that same Weee tries to avenge its capture by attacking Ash & the team in its evolved state.
Coming to Gastly, it is a Ghost-type & Poison-type Pokemon which was introduced in Generation 1. Gastly evolves into Haunter, which can further evolve into Gengar. Gastly debuted in the episode “The Ghost of Maiden’s Peak”, where it showed his ability to talk & shape-shift. In that episode, he was seen posing himself as the spirit of the woman & toying with the minds of young men.
