OPPO outed the ColorOS 7 beta update based on Android 10 operating system to the OPPO K3 in April 2020. About a week later, just before the same month ended, the OPPO K5 Android 10 beta update also arrived.

While the former update was targeted at the Indian market, the latter was meant for those in China. On the contrary, the incoming OPPO K3 and OPPO K5 ColorOS 7 stable updates are both meant for the Chinese variants of the two handsets.

In the official announcement post, OPPO says the K3 variant receiving this OS has model number PCGM00. The airborne update has build number C.03, but it will only hit your K3 unit if the current firmware is version A.14, A.15, or A.16.

For owners of the OPPO K5, the update is arriving as firmware version C.18 and is meant for model PCNM00. You must be on either firmware version A.19 or A.20 in order to get the stable OPPO K5 ColorOS 7 update over the air.

Once your device meets the conditions above, head over to Settings > Software Update > Settings icon (top right corner) > Upgrade early adopters > ColorOS 7 official version open application and the stable Android 10 update should hit your K3 or K5 set.
