u>This story is being continuously updated…. New updates are being added at the bottom…..
Original story (published on April 23) follows:
Xiaomi announced the Mi A1 in September of 2017, but the next two releases – the Mi A2 and Mi A3 – came in July of 2018 and 2019, respectively. Granted, the next few weeks should see plenty of Xiaomi Mi A4 rumors and leaks start doing rounds ahead of launch.
Make no mistake, no official communication has been made regarding the Mi A4. But having gained a huge following over the last two or so years, we expect Xiaomi to continue with its Mi A series. This is despite poor software experience compared to the great hardware aboard these devices.
The company, for instance, is still struggling with the Mi A3 Android 10 update. The device has received several updates to the new OS so far, but none of them has had a positive impact on the fanbase.
Instead, cries of a buggy experience have dominated various social media platforms, forcing some unhappy Mi A3 owners to demand refunds from the company for selling them a device that they are unable to keep in good working condition.
Not giving up on its loyal following, Xiaomi is now pushing a new Mi A3 Android 10 update that bumps the software build number from version 11.0.11.0.QFQMIXM to the latest version V11.0.14.0.QFQMIXM.
The previous build was reportedly halted after numerous bugs were established. And even though the latest changelog doesn’t say anything about bug fixes, someone who has received the update has something positive to say about it.
This build fixes fingerprint not showing up when picking up the phone and EIS seems to be working. Suggestions are still there and pro mode is still still the shutter speeds. This is the best build for a3 so far. Quite very stable.
If the above comment is to be believed, the incoming update not only addresses the annoying fingerprint glitch, but also fixes the camera EIS issue and probably a few more bugs from the previous Mi A3 Android 10 updates.
We will be looking out for the download link so that those who don’t like OTA updates can be granted their wish of a manual update. Stay tuned to PiunikaWeb.
